Maura Montalvo

Maura Montalvo is a bilingual paralegal, receiving her Paralegal Certification from The University of Houston Downtown. Mrs. Montalvo started her legal career in 2011, and has enjoyed every moment. Mrs. Montalvo is experienced in Family Law, Immigration, Criminal Defense, Insurance Defense, Civil Litigation, Civil Pre-Litigation, Criminal Prosecution, Mass Torts, Corporate Agreements, Company Formations, Probate, and Estate Planning. She also has extensive knowledge of State and Federal filing systems.

 

Mrs. Montalvo gained trial experience after being with the Harris County District Attorney's office for 1 year. She was in the courtroom daily, preparing motions, exhibits, and last-minute filings. Working for the District Attorney's Office meant sometimes receiving case information the same day of trial, requiring her to quickly and accurately absorb case facts.

Other than her work, Mrs. Montalvo's pride is her family. She and her family's life motto is, "A day without learning something new is a day wasted."
