CLIENT DISCLOSURE REGARDING NON-LEGAL SERVICES

Effective Date: May 1, 2025

From time to time you may be offered services through a division of Newell Law Firm PC d/b/a Newell Law Group PC (the "Firm") that provides non-legal services, such as:

 

  • Entertainment project packaging and sales advisory

  • Business and brand consulting

  • Strategic content advisory or development

  • Other professional, non-legal consulting services

 

These services are distinct from the practice of law and are not offered by the Firm attorneys in their capacity as legal counsel. It is important that you understand:

 WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU

  1. No Attorney-Client Relationship
    These services do not establish an attorney-client relationship between you and the Firm or any of its attorneys.

  2. No Legal Advice Provided
    These services are not legal in nature and do not include legal advice, legal representation, or the preparation of legal documents.

  3. No Attorney-Client Privilege or Work Product Doctrine
    Communications made in connection with these non-legal services are not protected by the attorney-client privilege or attorney work product doctrine.

  4. Separate Engagement Required for Legal Services
    Should you wish to engage the firm for legal services, a separate legal services engagement agreement will be required.

 

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

By using or engaging with any non-legal services offered by the Firm or its affiliates, you acknowledge and accept the terms of this disclosure.

 

ATTORNEY REFERRAL & CONFLICT OF INTEREST

If a legal matter arises during the course of providing non-legal services:

  1. The client may be referred to Newell Law Group's attorneys for formal representation, but such representation shall be subject to a separate engagement agreement.

  2. Any potential or actual conflict of interest must be reviewed pursuant to the California Rules of Professional Conduct.

CHANGES TO THE POLICY

Thew Firm reserves the right to revise this policy at the Firm's discretion. The Firm will notify you prior to said change by email and/or by inserting a notice on the Firm Website.
